Project Description

Property 14 – Sold

A 654 sq. foot studio cottage with front porch facing west. The exact date when the house was built is unknown though a likely date range is the late 1920s, early 1930s. Also unknown is the mason. The style is unique with obsidian embedded in the concrete sills and lintels and a mixture of local stone types randomly placed identifying the location as on Northern Arizona’s Colorado Plateau where volcanoes, lava flows, limestone and sandstone are all found. Historically, Flagstaff had a great deal of masonry construction. Laundry room has big windows facing east to back yard and gardens. Property 14’s layout is the mirror-image of its sister house, Property 16.
